After a long search, I came across a small shop in Agios Nikolaos on Crete while looking for high-quality, tasty and gently processed spices and teas. The store called “Elixir Herbs & Spices” only has approx. 20 m² and is located in the heart of the small town not far from a small fishing port. Most of the ingredients grow in the region of Agios Nikolaos and the mountainous areas towards Sitia in the east of the island.
