200g (at least 80 pieces) grade B vanilla beans • Recommended use: Vanilla powder, extract production • Pod length: 13-16 cm • 25% moisture content • Pods average weight 2g • Vegan, vegetarian • Make your own vanilla powder recipe: 1) Continue to dry until the pods break when bent 2) Cut off the ends (they are difficult to get finely ground) 3) Grind in a spice grinder or coffee grinder, then sieve and you’re done • Vanilla Elementary School Class B features: Class B pods have less water weight. You get more pods for the money, because you don’t pay for water. With grade A you pay for looks, which we don’t care about. The pods can also be split or broken. Split pods are a good feature as the pods were harvested half yellow – right time. I get the same pods as Grade A, but at a fraction.
