Origin: This vanilla is from the "Bourbon" designation originating from Madagascar and is cultivated in the SAVA region (Sambava district). It is renowned world wide for its prestine quality. Vanillin Content: 1.8 to 2.4% (The close the vanillin content is to 2%, the higher the quality). Madagascar "Bourbon" vanilla has the highest vanillin content in the world making it the most aromatic, perfectly meeting your needs and expectations. Moisture Content: 30% to 36% humidity level (really HIGH). This is the thickest of all vanillas. The higher the moistrue content, the longer the pod will maintain its initial weight. Aroma: Intense floral vanilla flavor with warm, chocolatey notes. Appearance: Fat, plump, glossy, almost oily(a striking feature), and naturally black in color.
