Becherovka-style liqueur A set of spices for Becherovka-style liqueur (for 1 l) – an excellent Czech liqueur that contains many useful substances. Previously, it was used as a medicinal elixir. With our set of spices, everyone can prepare this aromatic liqueur at home. Becherovka recipe for everything you will need: 800 ml of alcohol with a strength of 50-55% vol.; a set of spices; Sugar – 100 g; Water – 250 ml.The preparation is as follows: put all the spices in a container and fill them with alcohol. Close tightly and put it in a dark, warm place (for quick extraction). Insist the drink for a week with occasional shaking. After 7 days, filter the tincture through a fine sieve or several layers of cheesecloth. Before filtering, it is better to taste the infusion – if the smell and taste seem poor, leave it for a few more days. Prepare the syrup: dilute 100 g of sugar in 150 ml of water and put it on fire. Stir constantly until the sugar is completely dissolved. Do not bring to a boil. Remove, cool to room temperature, remove the foam, if there is any, and add to our infusion. Then pour another 100 ml of water into the pot in which the syrup was cooked, rinse it, and add it to the tincture. In total, you should have about 1 liter of product. Instead of sugar, you can use fructose, given that it is 1.7 times sweeter than sucrose (that is, regular sugar). After mixing the tincture and syrup, homemade Becherovka can be considered ready.
